Clean, big enough for 4 people, good rates
Room was clean, spacious, and air-conditioned. Satisfactory breakfast with two choices of bagels (toasted if you like), jam, cream-cheese (sort of), butter, oatmeal, milk & cereals, juices, coffee & tea, apples & oranges. Downtown and the Museum of Natural History can be reached by taking a pleasant walk along the canal.
While downtown isn't too far and there is a bus stop nearby - there are only a couple of convenience stores in the immediate vicinity, and they're not open late into the night... so if you arrive late and are hungry or thirsty you have to rely on the vending machines at the residence.
All services were professional. There is also busses to downtown.
The taxi drivers during the late hours of the night were loud and disturbing with their laughter, loud talking, music and hornblowing. Parking could also be expanded to nearby areas.
It was a pleasure to stay at your facility. The breakfast was more than adequate, and the staff were very thorough in their various jobs, the front desk staff were very helpfull. Our friends were delighted to hear about our stay. Most of the time we caught the bus into the city centre and walked back, it was a very pleasant experience, which we have recommended to most of our friends who are interested in visiting Ottawa. There is no doubt we will see you in the future. Please do not send us any more emails.Thank you. Pat and Dave Harrop
Two bedrooms, kitchen, location
We stayed there twice in two weeks. First time for two nights and the second time for one night. During the first stay in one of our rooms was the smell of urine. My friends smelled it too. I think the problem somewhere in central canalization system. Both times there was no internet in rooms. Only downstairs. So don't count on it, there is no WiFi in the hotel.
big room with kitchen wifi free parking free
bad beds poor breakfast
It was close to where nephew lives.
Breakfast is limited. Bed & pillow uncomfortable. Sheets come out from under mattress. Television not very good. Floors, fridge & phones could be cleaner. Blinds are not working good for privacy. Could also use more hangars. And not alot of room on vanity.
Convenient to city, spacious room and lots of green space around building, convenient parking
-No dishes or utensils in kitchen so we had to go out and buy some, staffed by students who show thier inexperience in dealing with customers, didn't make bed because pj's left on pillow and won't touch "personal items" which we were told applies in all hotels (sorry, first time for us, sounds picky but staff had "attitude")
Very nice place and definitely more than expected. Its almost an extended stay, if we have stove and utensils.
Getting a parking might be a challenge. Some of the close by spots can be reserved for short term, say 2 hours, so when some guest comes across he has time to park and unload luggages, instead of stopping with a blinkers. I saw couple (more than handful) which are parked very close and never moved from the spot during my entire stay. They could easily park a little away making it convenient for people moving in/out.
Free parking on site. Quiet. Decent size room (we actually had two rooms to ourselves).
The mattress wasn't good. We had to go to the front desk to get a hair dryer. The breakfast is minimal.
This is a quite and clean hotel close to down town Ottawa, along the bank of Rideau Canal. My family member and I like it very much.
free parking, two queen at separate room, microwave
this hotel is a students housing, when we checked in, it was the last day of opening. The toilet did not work, I cleared it by myself, because it was 10:00pm, no service person available and no any other room available.
I'd enjoy the Park behind r&cc, very nice.I'd like the room with seperated area. This is a reasonalble price ^^
It could be nice if in the room have some artical flower to make a feelling of a hotel.
The 2 bedroom set up was convenient. Free parking at the hotel is good, parking downtown is expensive. The area is conducive for walking, restaurants and the Byward Market are just a few kilometers away.
It would have been convenient if there had been clock radios in the bedrooms.
Position, lot of information, services
